In theory both Belgium and Ghana could finish second in the groups having scored just one goal each. Whereas ordinarily you would expect a side on one goal to be going home - which very likely is what will happen with Scotland. I can’t work out what the blooming logic is for who we play. AI tells me that if both Senegal amd DR Congo qualify we would definitely play Senegal

I see Rudi Giuliani is already putting forward the suggestion that the USA should bid for the 2038 tournament and have 64 teams.
