It's not as though Clarke doesn't have experienced CB alternatives available to him -- Scott McKenna, John Souttar, Dominic Hyam, all of whom had good seasons for their clubs. Kieran Tierney has CB listed as his secondary position and was used as such at Arsenal, never mind Celtic. Clarke is Scotland's biggest problem; who else would have Hanley as first name on his team sheet, or favour Lyndon Dykes over McBurnie?
