Seems to have been a lot of red cards in these friendlies.

Anyway a bloke who plays for Braintree is marking Rashford tonight so he might commit a foul or two.

I plan to enjoy this WC cos my young un is into the game now so he's all excited for it.

Got him an England and Argentina replica top and a wall chart. Will pencil in the juicy group games, whichever ones he fancies watching...get some snacks in n cook samosa n **** and enjoy it to make it a memorable experience for him.

I guess school night late games might be an issue init

Started my lad off when he was only 6 for the 2018 World Cup. He watched bits of the England games and jumped around when England scored. Put up flags and stuff. Every game I would make a little buffet of Nachos, pizza etc and that continued in to the 2022 World Cup when he was 10.

Sounds daft but it was a lovely moment earlier today when we were in the supermarket and the now 14 year old (6ft tall and deep voice) asked if we were doing the "world cup nachos" again this time around. Gave him a little squeeze and said "of course we are".

Shows that kids remember this stuff as they get older.

Plenty to dislike about the BBC but they don’t have an ad break every five minutes.

Tuchel needs to let that tuft go. Get it shaved off mate.

Tuchel is not going to win England the world cup, probably out in the round of 16, the bloke's a ****ing idiot

Cringing at the national anthem. Shocking effort from all involved.

Jocks 4-0 up against Bolivia at HT. Should have watched that game instead.
