might watch first half but i'm not staying up to 1 to watch a group game unless it was the last one with a **** or bust scenario which is unlikely considering how few teams get eliminated in the group stage

Could be later than one if there's any lightning 7 miles away.

First banger of the tournament is Saturday night 11pm

Brazil v Morocco

Watching this one

I might watch it being a Saturday night, see how I feel, no rush to get up on a Sunday and my lad is in Germany this weekend, so he wont be round for a Sunday lunchtime beer.

I be up till around am often so I can accommodate it I reckon

I can’t believe they’ll fanny about as much as they did for the Club World Cup. If it is genuinely looking a bit dodgy they’ll have to stop for a bit and they’ll do what they want for Austria v Jordan but the games that really matter will be played when they’re meant to even if someone hears a bit of thunder on the other side of the state.

I reckon they probably will stick to it tbh. Doubt they give a **** about the TV audiences and presumably it's a good money spinner for the venues.

Speaking of weather and it's safe to say the England match won't be happening tonight.
