Que? Guyana isn't an Island. Anyway, the vast majority of the West Indies and the Caribbean nations are considered part of North America. I suppose the main one that isn't would be Trinidad and Tobago. For the record, there are plenty of islands in the West Indies that are closer to North America than South America.

To be honest, I don't think I knew Guyana played in the West Indies cricket team(probably because Guyana isn't in the West Indies) but it makes sense considering it was British and the West Indies were probably short of players.
