France don't play cricket, England 3rd in the rankings which is nothing to write home about when you consider Ireland are placed 12th!
3rd in the rankings, holders of two World Cups. As I said before Michael, rankings don't mean sh!t, World Cups are what get remembered.
So where does the world domination come from? ODI winners, what other global events did France and England win?
Think France won the Petanque World championships too
I doubt it is and even if it is, it doesn't make it worldwide. I can think of 2 continents where it isn't really played(I won't count Antarctica)
Population wise it would be high when you count India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc but go by countries I wouldn't have thought so.

Oh definitely, but only because it is played in those ****holes. I very much doubt it is 2nd on the list of participation sports in the world. Maybe 2nd on the list of watched sports, but even that, I am sceptical about.
