I think Ronaldo has severely tarnished his reputation with his conduct in recent months at both club and country level.

Ironically Messi was close to a similar implosion in 2016 when he flounced away from the national side and soon after started giving all sorts of ultimatums to Barca, but he pulled himself together, regrouped and came back from the brink. Ronaldo just doesn't have the years still in the tank to redeem himself. He has acted like a sanctimonious narcissist for months now and it leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth at the end of a stellar career.

Sitting down to talk with that cretin Piers Morgan is an and of itself enough to settle the debate, but 'tis the season and I'm in a generous mood.

Oh i agree fully with the Ronaldo assessment, i think he's realised he has come to the end and can no longer perform at a level he wants' to but can't accept it.
Sad really because he is now tarnishing his whole career with his petulant actions as you have implied.

Morocco have struggled to find goals all tournament.

Just 4 in the group stages and 1 in the 3 KO games they played.

I'd like an Argentina win, would be great seeing Messi signing off with a World Cup to finish the collection.

Would also be useful to distract Romero from the fact that he is never going to win a trophy at club level <laugh>
