I didn't think it was a pen Ron but thought thwy were going to give it. To be honest I have no idea what constitutes a foul anymore. It seems an opposition player only has to sneeze near you for you to fall over and free kick be given. I used to love football with a passion but I get more annoyed by it than excited nowadays and a lot of that is to do with how soft it has become, how the players react and especially how they speak to the officials and think its probably now about 4th or 5th on my list of favourite sports

Got me breath back again, that Russian goalkeeper and skipper is one cool cat, a real hero. Impressed too by the impeccable behaviour of the Russian players and fans too. Truly a great World Cup, one of the best I've ever seen so far. Big shots falling by the wayside left right and centre. So any revised choices guys? My original four are still in it, for how long I haven't a clue! :emoticon-0100-smile

Sticking with my original choice of France. I think Mexico will see off Brazil tomorrow so that would be another 'big un' out.

I can’t believe that England have now been backed into 3rd favourites to WIN the World Cup on the back of a tame defeat to the Belgium reserve side<laugh>

The 2 wins we got were against the 500/1 and 1000/1 outsiders for the tournament!
Fair enough if we beat Columbia but I think that match will be a real struggle.

Almost another goalkeeper hero but it wasn't to be. Bugger

Gary Neville got it spot on tonight. We'll fancy our chances against any team from here on in to the semi final and our opponents will fancy their chances just as much, starting with Columbia.
 
Brazil are showing how to play in second gear and win quite easily.....at the moment[emoji41]
