Sweden look like they have given up all hope of winning this and are just scared stiff of losing. Just a matter of time before Germany score
 
Unbelievable. Fair play to Kroos who atones for his mare with the Swedish goal. How **** was the Swedish forward though with the tame shot when he could have just kept the ball and used up time.
 
Argentina, Portugal, France, Brazil, on my not winning it list and now Germany, that goal is papering over the cracks, they are not going to win it.

That Sweden forward who gave the ball back to Neuer to set up that last attack will be getting one massive bollocking Smokey. Schoolboy stuff. But like you say those last 10 minutes you just knew they'd come up with something. I must say this World Cup is far more enjoyable when you don't have much regard for the result <laugh>.

Once the shake out starts and we reach the quarter finals the usual suspects are likely to improve. As much as I support 'Deutschland' I cannot include them in this tournament's usual suspects. Having watched the Bundesliga extensively this and past seasons plus my beloved FC Bayern in the Champion's League I knew the central defence to be crap and the main strikers to be pish!
 
Just a thought on a few "what ifs" .................... assuming Mexico don't lose to Sweden and win the group, and assuming Germany beat South Korea and finish second in the group and assuming Brazil beat Serbia to win their group then Germany would meet Brazil in the first knockout stage.

Winning tonight doesn't conceal the fact that they have been utterly ****e in 2 matches. loads of possession but done nowt with it.
