Just another wee thought about the World Cup (so far). Have many of the games been decided, as many are in the Champion's League, by rapid and decisive use of a counter attack once possession is 'given away' by the opposition.

Could be wrong; please shoot me down if you disagree.

It's the fashionable thing to do these days Kenny. More and more teams looking to play this way (especially away from home).
 
Hello officials...how was that not a penalty with two Swiss players holding on to mitrovic in the box?. Must have been asleep or on drugs...VAR not used properly there. Shocking from the officials and only in football is it possible that the officiating is still so poor even with the aid of technology. .lol

Disgraceful. I don't understand what is going on. They can't all be blind. Something strange going on. A defender only has to be touched when a corner comes in and it's a free kick.

The body slam on Kane was ridiculous but 2 on one ????????????????

Yep but they are somewhat profligate in front of goal and may yet get another sucker-punch.

Oddy; I am currently enjoying a vicarious tour of Berlin's craft beer outlets thanks to a former workmate; Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, Brauhaus Lemke am Hackeschen Markt, The Castle Berlin, Mikkeller Berlin and KASCHK. I suspect he is having a ball!
 
Stone Brewing company is an amazing place to visit BUT very expensive

Not far from me is a bar called Försters Feine Biere. The guy is a qualified beer sommelier and has collected some of Germany‘s finest beers under one roof. Your former workmate May want to google it <ok>

I like www.staev.de because of the political chit-chat and general atmosphere. Never been to Berlin however always pop into Koln-Bonn Flughafen and Koln city outlets.

The Berlin location has THE most attentive waiters ever - as soon as your glass is empty they bring you a fresh one. Unbelievable and I ALWAYS leave the place very, very drunk indeed <ok>
