It's all about the money, but if there's so much of it why the need to hide it? Anyways loads of slow starters making England pregame look a strong 14/1

Germany now under a lot of pressure after that Sweden win.
should be a great game between those two on Saturday night!

If Sweden draw their 2 games and Mexico don't lose against S Korea, Germany are out. There are other scenarios in which they could go out but 2 draws for Sweden would see them through

Sweden will play for a draw against Germany now, hopefully they get it as Mexico will beat SK. Mexico and Sweden can then give each other a nod for a draw. Happy days.

Spain, France, Germany, Argentina all unimpressive, stage looks set for Brazil to set the standard, they are now 7/2 without kicking a ball and that will probably be 5/2 after the game tonight, Switzerland have only lost 1 in their last 17 games and were good at parking the bus against Spain recently so if Brazil blow them away it will be impressive

im starting to come around to Belgium and think they might be the value at 10/1 but im expecting Brazil to be hard to beat

Spain should have won against Portugal; they were the better team for two thirds of the game. David De Gea has obviously been reading the Loris Karius Book of Goalkeeping on the journey to Russia. Spain should breeze through to the knockout stages and nobody will want to play them as they have a lot of talent and they play as a team, unlike Portugal who are Ronaldo and ten others.

As Spain are the only team to have won the World Cup having lost their opening fixture, we can pretty much write off the Germans. I was as gutted as everyone else in the pub that cheered when Mexico scored. They simply do not look a very good team. England might even fancy playing them! With VAR and goal line technology, no need for a Russian linesman.

The French will soon be throwing the toys out of the pram – they do at every team sport.

taylor didn't have the worst record , luckily big sam got sacked before he could start wrecking the team !

Do you not like Sam’s brand of football?

He would have captain Kevin Nolan as the first name on the teamsheet and Kevin Davies bolstering the defence and organising the Route 1 attack.

should be 4 nil at half time , never a foul for that penalty , surely they'll win this ?

Weak penalty that, Kane should have got a pen if they are giving that for Walker.
Poor finishing or like you say it should be 4.

Think Kane's should have been but whilst their's was soft it still was one in my book. But yeah - we should have scored more

Is it just me or could England improve by just playing in triangles? Too many isolated players in last third unable to break down defence!

Get Young out for Rose. You cant have 3 right footed players on the left. 4 chances badly missed in first 20mins made it difficult, should have had 2 pens as well.

I'm glad others have pointed out the abomination that is Young at left back. I thought it was just me! Left footer on left hand side ffs, it's not complicated is it. Rose and Rashford should start next March for Sterling and Young. Looked decent in attack particularly in the first half but I suspect if we make it through opposition coaches will be keen to put our back line under pressure. Very jittery at times against a limited attack. Lukaku, De Bruyne, Mertens and Hazard could prove a handful though hopefully we'll both be through by then.
