Neymar not at the races, spent most of the game rolling around crying, he is just back from a bad injury to be fair.

Brazil were excellent first half and should have been 2 or 3 up, took their foot off the gas and the Swiss defence showing why they have such a good record.

Glad the wheels have come off the German machine - football should be about passion and talent, not about efficiency and stats.I hope the general standard of matches improves but i already fear we are seeing tired players at the end of a long season.

You've sure changed your tune from 4-years ago! I wouldn't count them out of it yet, but they are really up against it with Sweden and South Korea both very difficult rivals. Germans I know here have been pretty realistic and sporting about it, a few of them knew damn well beforehand that this squad had problems. Löw had already dropped a massive clanger before the tournament started? I've lived here many years, and I see no need to call them ****Krauts, that would not be right, and at my age I have more reason to say that than any of you baby boomers who've had it oh so ****ing easy for 40-years or so. I'm off before I get chucked out, finally! <laugh>
(One German newspaper has already said "we are world champions for another 3-weeks" :emoticon-0100-smile).

Spain, France, Germany, Argentina all unimpressive, stage looks set for Brazil to set the standard, they are now 7/2 without kicking a ball and that will probably be 5/2 after the game tonight, Switzerland have only lost 1 in their last 17 games and were good at parking the bus against Spain recently so if Brazil blow them away it will be impressive

im starting to come around to Belgium and think they might be the value at 10/1 but im expecting Brazil to be hard to beat
Talk about covering all bases

Germany have gone stale, Brazil look a bit light, Portugal not good enough, Argentina with Rojo and Otamendi at the back i cant see it, France look disjointed, England to the qf then will need luck. Mexico, Croatia and Uruguay will do well as outsiders.
Spain with ball possession and Costa up top look the winners to me.

Just watching this documentary about Engand managers over the years. Crikey I'd managed to banish from the memory some of the absolute shockers we've had. But the good ol Beeb have packaged them all into an hour long package of misery. And we've not had that fat twat Sam yet. <laugh>

Sven has to be the worse England manager ever.An absolute spoofer if there ever was one.At least Keegan admitted he didn't have the bottle for it.Taylor wasn't great but the media didn't help his cause one bit.

You dangle a leg out in the box with Ronaldo running at you, schoolboy error.
GK howler.
Ronaldo back to goal 30 yards out and you foul, schoolboy stuff again.

forty odd free kicks without scoring , he made that one count ! most people would applaud it ..

It was brilliant, i loved it, thats what it is all about, but it was a gift of a goal from a silly foul. It should never have came about from the spanish point of view as the other 2 as well.

so far the only bets ive put on are Uruguay/Cavani 250/1 for a few pounds and a ton on Denmark 6/4 which was 90 minutes of pure hell

Three tournament QFs on the bounce. Not the worst effort tbf.

I though Terry Venables was a good England manager but he got sacked for something, can't remember what
