Did he drop any catches Dave ?
He has certainly lost all respect I may have had for him.

I'm sure he'll be devastated. He has certainly lost all respect I may have had for him.
Just be grateful he's nowhere near the squad - Pickford has shown himself more than capable as a permanent replacement and his star is ascending with every game - hope it continues to do so for the next two!He has certainly lost all respect I may have had for him.

He may be 'vertically challenged' (185cm) compared to most GKs, but that's more than compensated for by his agility and reflexes.Just be grateful he's nowhere near the squad - Pickford has shown himself more than capable as a permanent replacement and his star is ascending with every game - hope it continues to do so for the next two!![]()
And his awareness of who's where in the penalty box.He may be 'vertically challenged' (185cm) compared to most GKs, but that's more than compensated for by his agility and reflexes.

I can see why some might not like that, but personally don't see anything wrong with it, it's his own time and should be able to spend it how he likes imo.So when England were knocking Sweden out of the World Cup, was Joe Hart watching and supporting the team he used to play for?
No he was playing cricket for his home town cricket club in Shrewsbury![]()
As long as he's never near an England team again, I don't care where he spends his time!I can see why some might not like that, but personally don't see anything wrong with it, it's his own time and should be able to spend it how he likes imo.
There goes his chance of a recallDavid Batty was spotted mowing his front lawn when England were playing Sweden, after hearing this turn of events he became dead to me .

The way I read it Joe was playing for his boyhood cricket team in Shrewsbury, he was a regular up to 2007 and could have played professionally.
He was doing what he enjoys and going back to his roots.
Why anyone would be offended by him doing this instead of watching TV beggars belief.
I find the criticism very pompous and self righteous and I have lost all respect for certain posters as a result.
