Elaborate - Labour*
* - I recall sending an email to the Controller of a German subsidiary where I was a NED...... His explanation for an item in the Monthly Report was ‘vague’. So I asked him to elaborate.
Heard nothing back and when I visited the following month, he was distinctly ‘cold’ towards me. Turns out he didn’t know/understand the word elaborate so he looked it up in a German / English dictionary. It said ‘labour/work harder’
Just shows how easily things can be lost in translation ...

Nick - the ‘if’ related to if he continues to trip himself up, meaning he is currently and needs to stop. If he can’t, the gap will continue to close and Labour could win....
Never voted Liberal: I’ve voted for Labour, Plaid Cymru and the Tories. Labour ‘lost’ my vote rather than either of the latter two winning it.....
