Dunno about you Taff, but I will be glad when this season is over.

It cannot get any worse next season, can it <yikes>

Absolutely.

Have to say, the 65 year relationship between Stoke City and me has been deteriorating over the past 6 years or so.

To tell truth, not really bothered any
more, perhaps symptomatic of professional football.

It"s NOT just about relegation & results Taff, for me the dissolutionment began when the FA got into bed with SKY, its happening in all 'profile' sports and I for one, have had enough.

Professional Sport seems to me to have lost its connection with its roots and base values...

Fully agree Nick - the TV dollar has brought a sea change. One ‘little’ example, when my father died last September, I had messages immediately from former Neath Committee men from my days there in the 90’s, one even attended the funeral.

I left the Os in May - just 4 months earlier, nothing ..... but then a couple of ‘half-hearted’ emails some time later.......

So no apologies required - you’re pushing at an open door <cheers>
