Nick - must admit that I thought that Al's only chance of selection would be if Gatland wanted him as captain, with Itoje picked on the blind side. I think that Gatland may be using the experience of last Summer's Wales tour of NZ when, for the first 50-60 mins there was little between the teams. However, they had a class bench from where to bring on their "finishers" to win the game, whereas ours was "poor". Imagine the impact that Itoje & the others could make of the bench....
That obviously presupposes that we haven't been blown away in the first 50 minutes.......

Yup, I'll go along with that. Re George, he is a very lucky boy to be playing Rugby at all, with too many concussive injuries.
Also thought Rory Best was nailed on for hooker. As you know I admit to being a dinosaur, so I really don't like the fashionable trend of 'finishers'. Subs for injury only and a maximum of three.
But I suppose the power and pace of the modern game makes it necessary.
