Nick - must admit that I thought that Al's only chance of selection would be if Gatland wanted him as captain, with Itoje picked on the blind side. I think that Gatland may be using the experience of last Summer's Wales tour of NZ when, for the first 50-60 mins there was little between the teams. However, they had a class bench from where to bring on their "finishers" to win the game, whereas ours was "poor". Imagine the impact that Itoje & the others could make of the bench.... That obviously presupposes that we haven't been blown away in the first 50 minutes....... Tremble - Fumble* * - a la George North
Yup, I'll go along with that. Re George, he is a very lucky boy to be playing Rugby at all, with too many concussive injuries. Also thought Rory Best was nailed on for hooker. As you know I admit to being a dinosaur, so I really don't like the fashionable trend of 'finishers'. Subs for injury only and a maximum of three.
