Back on topic, beating Germany for 3rd spot, good stuff,not that I have any beef with the Germans tbh!
 
Enjoyed the final, hate to admit it the American girls were good...especially that goal.
Our lot did well....did the country proud.
As did the men's hockey which I was also watching...finished 3rd in the World League and qualified for Rio...

Yes, sorry about that Twins but it has a bit more to it than that. I admit that I could and should of worded it better though. It had been a long weekend.

The U.S. finally woke up to accomplishments of the woman's national team.
What would another of the final four countries have done if their ladies had won the final?

Gone beserk, briefly. But it's Wimbledon and Murray is doing ok. As it is the FA getting pilloried for tweeting along the lines of 'now the Lionnesses return to their other roles as mothers, partners, daughters , but now also as heroes'. The lawyers in the women's England team might have some fun with that one.

And there he is. The man who hadn't posted in FIVE months but decided to go to the Supermods on something he found objectionable two weeks ago.

He was asked repeatedly to voice his concerns on the thread in question but he chose not to do so. I find that utterly contemptible.

I hope you're proud of yourself Sir

It's a different New York Swords, we have two posters with NY in their username and I'm pretty sure this isn't the one you know as Forest Gump. In fact the one you know as Forest Gump has changed his username to ForestG.
