You're confused between performance and resut DT. Give your head quick shake

Whatever about whether it was a great or good result or performance, I take a lot of encouragement out of the fact that we fought back after going 2-0 down against the runaway league leaders and could have come away with a point in the end.

Agree mate. Apparently the second half had lots of positives. Losing 2-1 though is not a great result, it's like saying winning 2-1 is a terrible result!! Just trying to help DT comprehend what he's saying.

    5-0 = 0 points
    2-1 = 0 points

Get it? Probably not, as you're incredibly full of yourself.

Starting formation was bizarre today. In fairness he changed things but the game was gone by then.

A result in football earns 0,1 or 3 points
The points awarded have value yes
So when the expectation is that you will receive 0 points the secondary parameter would be the score

You don’t say we had a lucky performance

Results in anything in the world do not have to be positive

So a 2-1 result which is a factual thing is a good result of course it can be seen that way

A 2-1 result as a defeat is only bad if you believe winning is everything

A fully deserved result is what was expected
    We were expected to lose
A 2-1 result is better than a 6-1 result if you are on the losing end

Performance is not directly linked to result

Good result to the point our goal difference wasn't too badly damaged.

From the 30 seconds or so they showed on channel 5 we were pulled wide apart for their 2nd goal have to give them credit for movement etc but we looked ok after that just a shame Eze didn't put his laces through the ball instead of trying to place it....

Every used the term keeping the score line down would be a great result ?

Against the best team in this division we have scored 3 and conceded 3 over two matches we got three points both games were good results

In a league every team cannot win every match hence a defeat by one goal can be deemed as a good result ... performance is not always related to result

Full of myself or not this is correct

When people are looking for a negative they will find it regardless

Wolves are a brilliant team playing full of confidence they will make anyone look poor
The reason we weren’t 5 down at half time was down to their finishing it had nothing to do with our performance they were simply better everywhere
Some how we got a great result

I reckon the negative of today might just be that we got 0 points.
Didn’t have to look far for that one.

Good performance though, so I’ve been told.

Stream wasn't up at the start and it doesnt give good overviews anyway. But I think it was 4-5-1 that morphed into the more usual lopsided 3-5-2 2nd half when Perch had gone off and Robinson moved back into a 3 with Ned and Lynch. Bidwell moved forward of the 3 on the left, but far less than Pawel managed on the right. Eze seemed to start wide left but moved into a 10 role just behind the 2 strikers and began to influence the game from there. Not surprisingly our best stuff was played through the middle and down the right with Pawel.

But I think you're forgetting that it wasn't just 0 points, it was a GREAT 0 points.

Apart from Wolves I firmly believe we can beat anyone in this league thankfully we have done Wolves now and effectively got a draw from them. They will slaughter most other teams as I can them only get stronger in the run it . They to me look a very capable mid premiership side now

From now on we must support the team to win

I watched the entire game in HD and Wolves made us look very stupid as they are very fluid ... it’s was clever European football against an English system with no answers
Still they dug in and ride their luck
Holloway did his job at HT and so did the players to contain them and in fact take a game to them. We are no where near a side like Wolves at the moment yet we have an excellent neutral result against them

Away from home we have been dreadful at times but not against the best team in the league

Didn’t forest go to molineux and have a go and win a couple of weeks ago ? That’s what I would call a great result .

Didn’t watch the game but let me have a guess we set up like we did against Bristol city and Boro a couple of weeks ago . 5 at the back and conceding oceans of space in the midfield . Effectively giving the game up before we have a go to try and get something out of it . People see this and managerial genius . Personally see us making the same mistakes week in week out .
If personnel and changes reap benefit then why do we keep making the same mistakes . Sat was a free game and should have had a go from the start . Then you never know what may happen !

We did started well for 5 minutes but then Wolves woke up and stuffed us with effortless passing and showed the gulf

They found it all too simple imo

    Second half was different
