Not just the fans apparently...... Wolves defender Matt Doherty says the club's owners are seeking a Premier League title "within the next five or six years" as he predicts a top-10 finish in May. (Express and Star)
The way they've fallen apart recently as we go into this long winter spell, I think we have as much chance as them of a top half finish. Unless Nuno accepts that as Carragher said, there's more than one type of football up here and faces it rather than sticking to his "system", they'll struggle. They did very well against poorer teams in the Championship last season, but against the top sides up here they'll fail because they're not that good themselves, and against the bottom sides because he thinks they're too good.
.........and there's more..... "As to the game yesterday, I would rather be a Wolves fan, having just watched the best season’s football in my life, and continue to struggle a bit in our current phase, than to know my team face certain relegation, and having to suffer that kind of **** served up by Colin’s Cloggers every week, knowing there is no chance of improvement."
I've wonder how many games have ended with us actually being out fouled by our opponents? I swear it happens more often than not. Maybe our players are just highly skilled cloggers compared to the Premier League amateurs we face week in and week out?
They are obviously more worried about us than we are of them. Agree that as many (or more) fouls are committed against us as we commit. And we probably get less for them, especially when in their box.
