I put up a thread last season with some poster's comments off a Wolves forum - here are a couple to start with for this game......<laugh><laugh>

"Colin makes dinosaurs look young, and his tactics and style of “play” reflect that, he should have been pensioned off years ago, and put out to graze in a meadow far away from football.
Their players will be so up for “avenging” last season, they will go over the top, and at least three will be sent off, and Colin will be banished to the stands for foul and abusive language, and that all in the first twenty minutes!
We cannot play as badly collectively as we did against Huddersfield, so will romp out easy peasy winners."

Cardiff 1

"Expect us to be overrun yet again in the middle and all the talented guys to be kicked up in the air at every opportunity first half .
I can see at least one Cardiff thug being sent off and then we will take control second half .
We will win this one because Colin won’t get away with his rotational fouling with these refs and football will win the day .
It won’t be a pretty game but it will be pretty interesting to watch I reckon.
Hold your nerve Nuno"

Perhaps someone should tell them they're actually away for this one or do they always put their names first?........<laugh>

........and as I posted the thread, here's another one that's just appeared over there........<laugh>

"Well we should know what to expect from Warnock and his bunch of thugs, so I hope we are all fully prepared for it. We just have to outclass them with the kind of football we have seen earlier in the season. I too would like to see some changes. Surely Dendonker has got to be ready for a game by now. Otherwise what is the point of paying good money for such a player. Tough to predict. Gut feeling is a draw, but I am crossing my fingers and going for a win."

Getting their excuses in early. Predict a win, but if they don't it's because they were kicked out of it.

Seen that the "us first" stuff on some other clubs' boards. I know I'm old fashioned but to me it smacks of arrogance. Wolves fans should remember, like us, they were flat on their arses and struggled to survive.

The other thing I don't like is when selected teams are shown on tv or announced on the radio, they go, goal keeper then left back etc. Correct me if wrong but don't we read pages left to right so after the keeper it should be right back as they will line up regardless of squad number.

Yes, I'm a grumpy old git.

Hmmmm, sounds like the Wolves fans are running scared. Hopefully we can kick them when they're down, metaphorically speaking. I feel we'll edge this one and get a welcome 3 points.

They were noisy, although an appalling version of Allez Allez but they were silenced in the 2nd half :smiley-finger007:

There's more...........

Just before the game.........

"I hope we wake up to take every game on its merit, and just because we can play better attractive football we shouldn’t think we will beat these lesser sides.
We all know what Warnock will be saying to his troops, kick the **** out of them and hope for the best."

Just after the game..........

"I think we will be better suited to play Chelsea because they don’t hoof it or rely on the psychical approach."

You couldn't make it up.........<laugh>

Sparky, whichever forum it is that you are looking at, you need to ask them how come a bunch of hoof ball, rugby playing cloggers like us pretty much matched them in the possession stats and were out fouled by their "artists" ?
The only yellow card we picked up was for disent last night!
:emoticon-0131-angel:emoticon-0102-bigsm gotta love 'em eh? Looks like their powder puff contintals can't actually face up to a wet winters Friday night in Cardiff!

Brizz - it's called Wolves Blog and there're a lot of contributors. Plenty of sensible ones but I've obviously highlighted the more short sighted...<laugh>

The page I've been reading (and there's a lot of it!) is the Cardiff match preview and the link is below. <ok>

Interestingly, on CCFC Facebook pages there are various articles and many have comments form Wolves fans congratulating us and reckoning we deserved the win. SO, there are some bright ones there. Maybe the dumb ones are young or it might just be a function of being brought up in the Black Country. Stoke's the same.

Wolves fans are the most deluded bunch ive come across. Molineux Mix is a must read. Funny as feck.

Great comment i read earlier. We should change the allez allez song to we beat the mighty Wolves instead of Real Madrid.<laugh>

They're run a very close second by Villa.

Surprisingly, the Leed's lot (the perception is they're all ****wits) are a decent bunch in the main. That's as long as you don't take forum chat too seriously.

I wouldn't have said that a few years back, but the current crop on this forum at least, are as good as you'll get - as long as you're not too sensitive that is..<laugh>

In fairness, reasonable post match comments. A lot of belly button gazing going on there .

Yes Bluey - that's the sensible ones.

I think they've learned that after their "new boys" success up here, Nuno's system has been found out. They are going to have to change something to avoid being sucked into the relegation scrap

Here's another (post match) blog from the same guy who to be honest has been very fair in his blogs this past few years - it's some of the numpties who comment that get right up my nose.

This time though (post match) they seem very reflective and maybe they didn't lose the game because of "Colin's Cloggers" after all?

There's always one though.................<laugh>

"We knew what to expect from Cardiff and their footballing dinosaur blueprint didn’t fail."

Wolves fans chanting “boring” as Gunners lined up for another long throw was typical.

Did anyone see Warnock’s brilliant pre match interview with Carragher & Neville pre game?

Also I rate Carragher & Neville as more knowledgable than one eyed Wolves fans; they thought City deserved to win and Carragher actually said “Cardiff were brilliant.”

Carragher said it’s “refreshing there are many different styles of football in the PL.”
