Where we stand in the fair play league compared to Chelsea doesn't matter. To get the Europa League place, we have to be the highest placed team who haven't already qualified for Europe. It's Blackpool that we are competing with. Hughes' card will be taken into account, but I wouldn't get too worried about it. The Fair Play table is calculated on average points per game, so at this stage of the season it is much less volatile than if you just got a fresh load of points added to a total. I recall Manchester City (I think) getting a player sent off in their final game of the season a few years ago, and receiving a glut of yellow cards and it didn't enable us to catch them for the Fair Play place. We would need to have a major behavioural meltdown to lose the place now. Oh dear, that last sentence looks like a hostage to fortune. I guess that if we do blow it now, you can all blame me and the gods of hubris.
Captain Morgan - quite right about the Fair Play league. If Mark Hughes gets charged by the FA for his comments about the ref on Saturday then so will Ian Holloway. Holloway was far more outspoken than Hughes - although his touchline antics didn't get him sent to the stand.
I can't make the game unfortunately due to family commitments over the easter weekend, which is a crying shame considering I now live in birmingham so not too far from wolves!
