Major ructions here now. As the snow began a couple of hours earlier than forecast it caught the evening rush hour and Flintshire Council hadn't had their gritters mobilised. This may be the last you ever hear from me or @Nig as our entire region grinds to a stop!

Where are you at mate? We are up in Ballater this week and it's fresh but plenty of blue sky.

We are not long back from a couple of weeks near Braemar. Was 16 17 18 degrees. Absolutely fantastic. Love it up the Highlands.

I have to admit that even though I live in a very warm country and overall it’s fantastic I do miss the changing seasons in the UK. Mrs K says she has never got used to Christmas in Australia even after so long of living here.
