We've gone from sheet black ice yesterday to gale force winds and *issing down today, don't you just love the British weather.
I was up in Newcastle for work this week. It was cold enough but no snow. I live in Derbyshire, we have about 4 inches of snow and it isnt shifting. Came on Tuesday and still here. Drove from Derby station home last night and minor roads like ice rinks. Mind my car is rubbish in snow and ice - rear wheel drive, might as well drive a sledge. Snowed again overnight a bit. There are no non-league games on anywhere round here that is for sure. My golf course is closed until at least Tuesday, but that is very high up. It is 2010 since we had a lasting snowfall here this early. Wonder if it is a sign of a bad winter to come?

Absolutely lashing down and wild here in SR6 but snowing in Washington. North East weather is mint!

Love watching the sea from the window when it's like this but I usually need to stick towels on the sills as they are knackered (and Kingston are the property management company so won't ever get sorted :emoticon-0121-angry).
