Not too bad down Roker, although the kids play park looks frosty. Heating had to go on this morning mainly for the kids.

Think I'll be getting one of those fake electric heaters for the front room as it's directly onto the sea front. Once those northern winds hit it gets bloody cold!
Just put the fire on, on the tv, makes you feel warm straight away<ok>
Never used it like I need mine cooling down <laugh><laugh>

We are at North Third, about 5 miles outside Stirling. Beautiful blue skies and no wind, but the frost has never lifted.
Some lovely sites around Sterling. If you into walking you should pay a visit to Dumyat. Loch Katrine is another worthwhile visit. You can take a boat out to the far end of the Loch then cycle round it, if you into your cycling.

Thanks for that Jarca, might have a ride up to Loch Katrine later in the week, we went there many years ago when my son was a nipper. Cycling and long walks are out for me at the moment. We are just happy to be in the fresh air, hopefully up to Dunkeld tomorrow.

I have to admit that even though I live in a very warm country and overall it’s fantastic I do miss the changing seasons in the UK. Mrs K says she has never got used to Christmas in Australia even after so long of living here.

I remember watching the tv at Christmas in the 70's as a kid. Freezing cold. Ice on the inside of the single glazed wooden sash windows.
Coal fire.

Fooking santa jet skiing onto a beach in the sun in Australia and thinking wtf.

Bunch of Fanny's <laugh>

Meant to see a canny bit of snar in the next couple of days. Definitely feels cold enough for it like.

Need to get the main living room radiator back onto the wall after decorating, not a good time to have no heating!

Snar <laugh>
That's proper north east frozen water <laugh>
I left work off 12 hour nights 11pm tonight.
Bit of snar but the option was there.
Snarflake modern society can have it's bonuses mate. <laugh>
We used to have to walk through three foot of snar to go to school. Nowadays a light dusting of snar is an elf and safety risk :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>
