Like the sound of Geubbels was the next French wonderkid a few years ago. Exactly the kind of player we pick up
If he was worth 20m euro at 16 the lad must have something and would bet on RLB to develop him.
Thing is though if we are buying now think he needs to make a difference immediately. Trust in the model though its working well at the moment

I personally think we are okay in the centre forward role as Isidor and Mayenda have proven to be competent but it’s the inconsistency on the right that concerns me, I think we need to get an improvement on Roberts.

I checked back and actually he only mentioned Jewison and Lenz in the article I saw. I’m sure he recently said something about Ba too.
For the record I think Ba and Jewison still have huge potential. Ba is only 21 and Jewison is still only 20. I’d be perfectly happy with loans for both.

And that could be Mayenda. For me we only have Wilson who can be assured at leading the line on a consistent basis. Can not go into the second half of the season with just that. Just too much risk.

One injury and we are very short. Could do with another who is half decent to come in upfront for me. Private flight from Oxford due tomorrow. Still in for that right wing player from Oxford?

What about injuries and suspensions?
 
Does a permanent signing this January mean that Isidor doesn’t sign on this summer? Four strikers needing minutes feels like a lot to then add Isidor to - particularly if we’re still at champ level.
