Yeah it was - that was in 23/24 made 15m profit

Then spent about 20 this summer so offset it a bit.
 
All eyes on the Ajax game tonight. Maybe if he was going to go to Leicester but they dropped out, that could indicate he wants to be back in england so could choose us.

Interesting it says its an option. Of course it would be JUST an option for Fiorentina and Lille. But us offering an obligation might be enough to put us in driving seat if Ajax want rid.
 
Lille just qualified for Last 16 in UCL haven't they?
Might persuade him but the article says he wouldn't be their main guy until David leaves in the summer, if we have an obligation he has the best of both worlds, would be a prem player if we went up and if not can go to Lille then, surely?

Had a look on TM there cos I knew they sold Tavernier the season before so was thinking that might be included.. reckons €9m profit 23/24 but I totally forgot about Djed Spence the season before anarl! Made €17m profit that window too!

So after their summer spree they were basically back evens then selling Lathh and signing Whitaker leaves them £10m or so up again so they defo could spend again - begs the question are they a better team though? I don’t think so.

Yeah made some serious cash the last couple seasons.
