It's so boring buying 'proven Championship players' and grinding your way up like Luton, Sheff Utd, Burnley ...

... I'm absolutely loving the risks we're taking with the likes of Isidor, Le Fée, Mundle, Bellingham, etc.

It's absolutely fascinating unless you just want to bulldoze your way to the PL at any cost.

Is there anything in depth on him available, I’m ****e with technology and can only find the odd match highlight from westerlo

No comparison really, they snuck up through the play offs and hardly spent

Ipswich were taking huge risks in the championship (according to some on here) but those ‘risks’ paid off and now they’re facing Manchester City today with millions gained whether they stay up or not

I’m sure Sheff United will be just fine too…
I get the point you are making. And can see why some fans (not saying you are) would prefer us to just go and do the cannon deal even at £10m+. But that’s the sort of business we did under Ellis short. To me what we have now is a clear strategy but one I think can set up long term success. Will Ipswich stay up? Doubtful and they they’ll have a lot to sort out next summer if they don’t. If sheff u get these solid championship players signed for big money and go up, will they be in a position to stay up next season? Again I think that’s doubtful. Then rinse and repeat in a years time.

Obviously the caveat is if we don’t go up, lose players and our strategy ultimately doesn’t get us over the line. But I think whether it’s this year or next, we will get back up and when we do we’ll have really solid foundations to make sure we can push on once we are in the prem. But of course time will tell.

From what a few of us on here have scouted of him

proper number, great movement in and around the box, I particularly like his double movements which is a big thing for a striker, can cut inside off the right aswell, powerful

I really like him as do a couple others

He is intelligent at dropping in to link play

Passing can be sloppy at times and he is still learning how to fully use his prospect but he looks like he has the physicality to play in England

I think he’s a very intelligent footballer

that’s why I keep mentioning him with the double movements, not a lot of strikers can do that

Sheff United in for Michael Keane from Everton

Another who should be good at championship level
