Got lost in the Cannon news earlier but that Rabbi Matondo link is interesting.

Wouldn't be against it personally as a rotation/back up winger. Can play both sides and is lightening quick. If you get the Matondo that was at Cercle Brugge you get a very good player. Struggle to judge players who are leaving Rangers, don't think they offer anyone a good platform to perform.

i think cannon should choose the club that did the most to get him, we have tried before and still went back for him, we made a big offer and sheffield were 'forced' to make a last minute offer to match (not beat) plus we are showing the better providers for him plus we have a seaside.

you also have to think what does he want to be apart of?

there is something magical happening with us atm, and who doesnt want to be apart of that?

Sheff utd are already heavy up front, unless they are off loading

They're still working on Chowdhury from Leicester on loan as well. Been going ages that one. Leicester want an obligation to buy but Sheff Utd only offering option to buy.
 
This Nixon stuff is bollocks. He's almost always completely wrong. I read on here that he has had some things right about Cannon in the past, so must have a contact with the player. If that's true, he still wouldn't have a clue about fees. Players don't get informed how much has been bid for them. They just find out who is interested and when it gets a to a point where an offer is made, they get given the contract details etc. Obviously if it was loan to buy etc, they'd know. But the £7m bid which has now been upped to £13m upfront is pure speculation on his part.

Can't believe that people pay to see the ****e he posts. He's worse than clubcall.

So many players don't look great up there mind, Amad being a prime example. In fairness to Matondo he's started 2 league games this season, in one of them he scored 2 and assisted 2, the other he was subbed off injured in the first half.

Not my favourite signing but would definitely understand it. Another for the former wonderkid pile as well.
