Well I’d be totally underwhelmed by Cannon, especially with a £7m fee, which IMO is £5m too much.
Remember he’s also turned us down to go to feckin Stoke. Let him stay there!!!

As for BBD - no thanks. He can’t even get a game at a team that’s bottom of the league with a potential record low points. Also he’s said he’d rather go to Sheffield or stay where he is.
Well let’s just let him do just that!! There’s a lot better than him & Cannon out there for a lot less money.

Let’s sign players who actually want to come here, and not get linked to players whose clubs want get rid of them. The alarm bells should be ringing!!

Bart

I know he's crap now but this is a piss poor way for a club captain to leave a club that's basically made his career. He's apparently refusing to be selected so he can get his money move. The captain ffs.

He could end being one of those players who earns tens of millions and ends up with nowt. You can see when he's desperate for a move right now mind, his legs look about gone.

Very highly rated this lad. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve watched him previously

Quite shocked that some are turning their noses up at Brereton Diaz and Tom Cannon like <laugh>

Who do we think we are? Isidor, Mayenda, Connolly and Rusyn as our senior options… <doh>
Enzo Le Fee has definitely warped our brains haha, Diaz for me really does work. Dunno if he gives us the target man type of striker but he's definitely very good and versatile.

Also, Alan Browne as our back up right back lads? Screams of it...

Has he filled in there for Preston previously?

The reason I can get on board with Frigan is because it’s just a very similar profile to Isidor. Young striker, scoring in senior football, fits the RLB style of CF. I think it could be quite smart to get him as some healthy competition and keep Isidor as the main man with some competition for the spot and a rotation option.

A lot comparing him to Rusyn etc when it’s nothing like that. This Frigan is 6ft 1 and Rusyn was a small lightweight forward who spoke zero English. Nothing similar about them

Sunderland have made a dramatic late bid to sign Tom Cannon from Leicester City - and are offering MORE than rivals Sheffield United.
The Black Cats are prepared to buy Cannon at the end of his loan period if they are promoted and pay a stunning £13 million in a down payment plus extras.
Blades hoped that £7 million guaranteed on going up would do the job but Sunderland’s numbers have changed the picture.
Cannon is waiting on Leicester accepting a fee and pulling him out of the Stoke City loan.
Sunderland have been trying loan to buy deals for several players. But the extras on top come as a shock to all sides.

i was pissed after them doing them comments, but will we actualy sign a striker in January ? when we get watson and Mundle back it will be great, top 6 no bother, Tom cannon yes good player.

That's pricey. We must really like him. Get it over the line.

RLB must really like cannon. It’s a big fee but in fairness we’ve got to trust the club are backing Regis with what he wants lads.

Would be mint getting him and Frigan, as much as I think we need a taller physical striker

Cannon is good with his back to goal and Frigan is 6”1 so maybe those two cover it

Maybe the Frigan news was about cannon like I thought

Pretty shocked at that price. £7 million now or £13 million plus if we get promoted?
