Anyway, it might still be bullshit

I bet though we still have eyes on him if we were so eager for him previous, think a lot of players are better off in Belgium and Holland before they come here, especially such young players

One of the coaches in a group chat I am in coaches out in Belgium. He says the standard out there is much higher than it gets credit for. Like you he thinks it is a great place for young players to develop their game.

I feel like most leagues are developing, they're arguably on par with Holland but with less star power.

I think you are right. The standards are good in a lot of places. There is a lot of alignment across Europe on coaching qualifications and standards. Acdemy setups are similar too. All leads to more talent finding its way through to the pro game with a core level of ability and know how.

I have a friend who works at Marchwood (their training ground) and tells me info.

but it’s currently a maybe not for certain. They are worried, they want to spend but also don’t

think that’s one to watch if they come down and we don’t go up. They could double his wages probably
