I think £25m with + £5m in addons would make it happen; it would be smart for us to get le Fee in on loan with an option to buy for €20m would cover us well too. Obviously he is different to Jobe physicality wise but he can still play that left-sided 8 role.
I think we might be willing to accept something like that in the summer, but not now. I think it would take closer to £40m for us to consider selling now.
I really hope so, i wonder if arsenal did bid that, maybe Jobe might ask to be let go?

The reason Le Fee to Real Betis fell through
I wonder if him not wanting to wait around might make us have a bigger chanceA loan with a non obligatory purchase of 20m euros is pretty much exactly what a lot of us have assumed, albeit we thought it might need to be compulsory upon promotion.
Seems that the only stumbling block would be what happens with his wages.
Would suggest we will know one way or another pretty soonI wonder if him not wanting to wait around might make us have a bigger chance

That’s the main factor I think. Without Le Bris I don’t think we’d be in with any sort of shout. But the factors you’ve mentioned might mean that things fall our way.One of the things we can't really be sure about is just how close he is with RLB. RLB in theory has a similar relationship with Le Fee as Dodds does with the Bellingham's. He will have coached him and nurtured him from a young age, and then managed him at senior level and turned him into a 20m+ footballer.
He's since had a pretty crap time and has lost his way to a minor extent.
if I was that guy I'd want to go back to the guy who nurtured me so I can re-find my mojo. If I was well advised I may even be willing to take a financial hit to do that, knowing that the end result could be significant financial gain if the next move is the right one.
All that depends on exactly how involved RLB was with Le Fee's development and how Le Fee feels about that. But if the stars align as they appear to, we could be the absolute perfect place for him at this stage of his career. He may even turn down moves to somewhere like Betis to come under a familiar Head Coach's wing.

In fairness despite the mag affiliation of his father they seem to have been eminently sensible so far, he could already be at any one of the top six in England if they’d wanted him to be.Yeh there's always a chance that both him or Rigg ask us to accept an offer and we seem likely to be the type of club to take that into account to an extent at least.
I'm actually more worried about Rigg being one to have his head turned than Jobe. Jobe has a really sensible team around him who will know he's on the right trajectory. I've got no reason to think Rigg doesn't have that, but we can't be sure. Of course the fact he signed a pro deal with us and not elsewhere indicates that despite the rumours of his family allegiances he is being well advised.
I doubt that you stop negotiating because it’s too slow unless you have a clear alternative. It could just be an ultimatum i suppose but again that’s a risk. I think he’ll turn up somewhere very soon, quite possibly here.I wonder if him not wanting to wait around might make us have a bigger chance

The Black Cats are ready to let the youngster leave the club if they receive an offer of around £20m. So, financially, purchasing him shouldn’t be an issue for Spurs, but securing his service won’t be easy as Arsenal, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are also keen on purchasing himI hope we just say no and keep everyone here till the Summer and see how we are if not in prem then loads will leave and I wouldn't blame them

TrueWorth pointing out that this time last year we thought they if we didn't go up then loads would leave, and they didn't. I don't think its as clear cut as many do that we lose Rigg, Jobe etc in the summer. Clearly it feels likely but its not definite.
