Neil, Jobe, Rigg, Aleksic, Samed, Le Fee and Browne whenever he's fit is a fine amount of midfielders for our normal 433 setup. Allows for proper rotation and a higher press because we'd have the ability to completely change the midfield mid-game.

Leeds for example play with a similar midfield setup and have Tanaka, Rothwell, Aaronson, Ampadu, Gruev and Guilavogui.

Burnley have Flemming, Sarmiento, Laurent, Brownhill, Cullen, Hannibal and then Aaron Ramsey when he's fit.

Sheff Utd have O'Hare, Peck, Davies, Hamer, Arblaster and Souza.

We'd be fine numbers wise.

yeah numbers-wise it’s good. I guess the difference is they all have parachute payments so can pay them all :D

Slight deviation on this for those saying it's out of our reach financially. There are loans in place from our owners. Convert these to equity (which has been previously reported would happen at some point) gives us more financial headroom.

That's normally the good thing when you sign or develop younger players - wages are usually lower

There's no doubt we would need to get some wages off the bill before signing someone like him but it's do-able imo

Some clubs will not pay much of the wages but will pay a decent loan fee instead - helps get around some financial rules

It just appears to be so far above our level. I don't see it, unless Neil is away. That is getting more likely by the week TBH.

Graeme Bailey has said Jack Clarke isn’t going out on loan and doesn’t want to

Hopefully we see some progress on players leaving this week. Anderson, Ba, etc.

Be sickening if we lose jobe and Neil at the end. Kind of need to go up, we’ll be rich in this division though.
