Not seen him play, would he be one we might be in for?
He's decent tbf, technically good and has good size & height

He does lack the aggression you'd want in a forward and that's would be my concern with him at Championship level

Blimey. Didnt know that. Be interesting if anyone takes him. Sheff Wed supposedly wanted him. Maybe they give him a chance.
Could just be a rumour too mind, not sure where he goes from here though, league one? SPL? Lad has talent just can’t seem to get him on the pitch to show it

Like others I dont want loads of loans. Mepham is fine because he is so bloody good. Another like that I am fine with, probably better chance of getting in CM there. But I really dont want to block our own player pathway. If I am honest I have been so taken with Mayenda as CF I want to see him developed through game time.

Most likely an abroad move would suit him best, he would get destroyed in the SPL - pitches are awful and the weather's even colder up here than the NE

Always feel for players who cant get fit. I know it isnt the same but had a couple of long injuries and I was as miserable as sin. I think sports people generally need that buzz of the sport.

Must be a lonely place too, we’ve got such a good group being sat on the outside looking in must be tough for players especially when they’re brand new to the club

I really hate the new 4g pitches. I played a bit of 7 a side just before lockdown, absolutely horrendous on my knackered old joints.
Used to play rugby on one, legs were ripped to shreds constantly picking rubber out of my knees and always gave me shin splints, I hate them

Chances are we will be looking at lots of different forward options, with lots of different profiles
I know mate.

more I think of it brooks might be the ‘midfielder’ we’re after and that would really tickle my interest

diatta would be brilliant at this level simply because he’s absolutely rapid

Don’t think he’d cut it at championship level not ability wise but attitude wise. Think the centre halves would be comfortable as scout said he’s not very aggressive

In fairness I think mepham will sign for us at the end of the season

I get the concerns about loans but I think 1 or 2 will be smart to get us that higher level quality without needing to buy. Now is the chance to sprinkle in 2 quality loans to help push us on imo
