6 goals in 26 games in an all conquering Leicester side? Not sure he'd be the answer for goals.
That’s just one season. The bloke has played years of premier league football up until that season and scored goals

Only 35 in 175 appearances for Leicester.

A lot of those are possibly subs tho considering he’s always been second in line behind Vardy.

Not convinced he’s the answer anyway. I think he was earning quite a lot at Leicester so he’s probably on a fair wedge where he is.

Still plenty of PL experience. He could defo do a good job for us imo. Have a feeling he would suit our system too.

Newcastle were linked with him this year

I'm the same as you, not convinced he's the answer at all. I think because folk have heard and seen him play, folk will get excited by the signing. Not been impressed with him for the last few seasons

Not against it as under the right manager he would be class at championship level but nit excited by the link

That was kinda my point.

Not a fan at all.

RLB has said he wants another forward and multiple journalists plus the commentator the other night have suggested we want one.
Yeah but when RLB says a forward player, he could mean a winger as he classes the likes of Roberts,Mundle, Watson as forward players

He’s played a level above the championship for years and years. Still just 28. I know his only season in the champ recently wasn’t amazing but surely he’s still a lot better than most options due to the level he keeps playing at?

Probably won’t be us to get him anyway so <laugh>

I feel Ihenacho would be a Mepham type loan but for the CF position. If we could make it happen we absolutely should.

his wages are massive though

I’d be swerving him.
On a lot of money and questionable attitude and fitness according some Leicester fans I know.

The games I watched he put in minimal effort out of possession, was poor when pressing and didn't look interested a lot of the time

100%. Selling in January would get shouts of giving up on the season, selling in the summer if we got promoted would be accepting relegation, selling in the summer if we don't go up would be lack of ambition. There's always someone arguing that the timing is bad.

I think it would also create huge pressure on the remaining players & manager due to supporters unrest never mind lumping unrealistic expectations on whoever we brought in to replace any sold players.....now is definitely not the time to sell in my mind....i think it would completely derail the season

Would be happy if we signed Iheanacho and would prefer him to no striker signing, but would be happy to twist and see if we can sign anyone better.

away matches against the big teams, I think we saw how effective Mayenda and Isidor can be. For home games against the weaker teams, would like a dominant penalty box finisher to bully teams and convert crosses. Plenty of games left to rotate between them.

feel a bit sorry for Connolly, thought he looked good against Milwall, but for whatever reason doesn’t seem to be fancied by RLB. Can see him leaving for someone like Plymouth.

The issue our strikes have is that we don't put enough crosses in for them.

For me it’s not that I desperately want a striker. I love Isidor and really like Mayenda, I would just like another option who’s a lot better with the hold up play and is quite good in the air too. Obviously they’d need to be able to be mobile and do the pressing RLB wants too.

Ihenacho probably doesn’t match that description but I defo do think we need a CF more of that description and it could help push us on
