I would only want Louie Barry on a permanent. A loan for a left forward makes no sense to me unless they’re elite
Maybe we buy him since they want to sell him to a champ club, we have the clarke money now
yeh depends on value. I doubt we’d go above £5m on an unproven player like him. And who knows what Villa want!
The only issue for me is if we sign a LM we will have Mundle Watson and Barry for 1 position
Watson is the one I have the most hope for but Mundle was class for us
I get both are injured at the minute but would be wary about bringing another permanent LM in
yeh same. But a loan makes even less sense to me. I think where I’m coming to is that I don’t want him at all.

Yeah, I posted elsewhere that it was more 8-12 weeks and not on the 8 side. Major hamstring tear. I reckon it will be another 3-4 weeks.

yeh CM is the place a loan makes most sense I reckon. Someone to fill the role Alan Browne was intended for.

No. Definitely not. He is very powerful with explosive characteristics. Needs to be really eased back in otherwise it will rupture again. I think he avoided surgery this time round but if it happened again, it would probably lead to that and that's 4 month minimum.
Agree tbh. Only caveat is that I’m trying to delude myself that he’s versatile enough to play anywhere across the front four and could find games in other spots.
That's who I was thinking, could be a loan with a view to a permanent signing in the summer
