Agreed. I don't think people understood how bad Mundle's Hamstring Strain was. A pure grade 3 rupture. Serious stuff. Will need wrapping in cotton wool and managed very carefully. He is an explosive lad and it's going to have to be immaculate in terms of rehab before he lets full blast into reactive sprint.
With Watson, Le Fee, Mayenda and Aouchiche as options, hopefully we can use him sparingly

I hope Ahmed gets up to speed soon. He looks like the right unit, has been described as quick, and is a good finisher from RLB and Speakman, too.

Few of us have said for a while we’d love him, surprised we never looked at gim

Yeah he's been a level above that league for a while now and it's bizarre because everyone seems to know it - and yet nobody has put in a serious bid.

They're seemingly asking for £4m for what I would say is one of the better midfield talents in the world for an English team to sign - speaks the language (debatable), but wouldn't take as much adjustment as a lot of the south Americans seem to take.

Goes back to the conversation yesterday - say we had 15m to spend... Surely you'd be willing to spend a quarter of that on Miller.

He's different class, huge fan of his - watched him live earlier in the season and was so good

Offers are starting to come in now - we've always had a sort of appeal to Scottish players to not move too far from home.

Although the Italians have become obsessed with the SPFL as of late.

That's why i'd be happy with Louie Barry on loan, I can't see mundle featuring much this season at all, he can also play multiple positions too
Strong rumours he's going to Celtic

Not sure why loads think Mundle won't play much this season, he is due back in Feb and so is Watson

It means he doesn't need to be rushed back and will likely be fully fit and good to go for the last 3 months of the season

Barry is a decent enough prospect but I would still prefer someone who can play RM rather than another LM

We have Mundle, Watson, Adil, Aleksic and Le Fee who could all play there

Mayenda could occasionally, not a massive fan of him there tho

Man United signing Patrick Dorgu interesting

don’t rate him very highly personally, admittedly only watched him away at Roma and Napoli this season though

Scottish players also seem keen on Italy, Hickey and Ferguson really kicked on going there so think players are seeing that as a great option for them now

I just think with the nature of the injury and knowing us and our setbacks it won't be that easy for him to come back in and be the same player

And mctominay + gilmour have become gods over there (although they both always had a bit about them)

Wouldn't be against a cheeky bid for Lennon Miller and a loan back to Motherwell until end of season.

He can then come in next season.
That would be an excellent hedge against potential midfield changes this summer. Although the nuclear option isn't totally terrifying me as it once did tbf. As things stand, we'd be looking at starting a champ 25/26 with midfield options of Browne, Aleksic, Aouchiche, Ekwah, Triantis, Jones - plus north of £70m in cash burning a hole in our pockets. Should be plenty to add one or two high class players around the £5m mark ready to go again.

like its been said, dont think we need that many in now,
we have players nearing a return

I would like to see us bring in a out n out striker, LW and FB, to cover the areas that seem to get injured more

Agreed, I think a winger who's actually natural on both sides would be a preference - but in the age of inverted wingers has become a bit more of a commodity

City just splashed £30m on a 19 Year old Brazilian defender? Reis. Never heard of him but anyone know if he’s that good? Or going to be?

They apparently managed to beat Wolves to the signing!
