His ability on the ball and in tight spaces is incredible, watch how many turns he jinks away from someone or fakes a pass out wide then drives inside or to the other wing, has really good body feints and dribbling ability and rarely loses the ball this way. When he plays further up the pitch his drives forward are very effectiveFair enough mate, I agree he defo offers more than Rigg at the minute but I can’t say I agree with the captaincy thing and how much he brings to the team I think he’s a wheel in the cog and as you say he’s the engine in that role but if we moved Jobe back would we really be missing that much? What does he offer that Jobe couldn’t in there? Jobe is having to play as a 6 in possession sometimes and I wonder if that’s through preference to RLB or because he has to, because Neil doesn’t always want the ball. When you watch the better teams they rarely have their other centre midfielders having to come between the CB’s for the ball, it’s always just the 6. He just doesn’t look like a captain to me when he’s on the field I see other players like O’nien barking orders and looking superior, I think it was a mistake to take the captaincy from him but you could probably argue when we signed Mepham we weren’t expecting LON to stay in the Xl.
Maybe I’m harsh on the lad because I expect more from him when I hear how highly our fans have rated him for years but I just don’t see the talent in him that I see in others. I think he’s a good player but he’ll never be a great player. Certainly good enough to get us promoted like but with signing better midfielders it makes you wonder if we’ll end the window without losing one because we’re going to be stacked in there and on paper Neil is not one of the better midfielders we have imo.
Definitely think you are being massively harsh on him like, Jobe has been class this season but for me Neil plays a part in that. Positionally Neil is a lot better than Jobe, and helps Jobe so much - Jobe helps Neil at times as wellFair enough mate, I agree he defo offers more than Rigg at the minute but I can’t say I agree with the captaincy thing and how much he brings to the team I think he’s a wheel in the cog and as you say he’s the engine in that role but if we moved Jobe back would we really be missing that much? His agent was in Sheffield he was up hereIf Cannon was here for talks yesterday, you'd think we would have a good chance of getting it done. You often hear that when you want someone you don't let them leave until they've signed. And we've been after him for 18 months now.
All depends on when he's spoken to Sheffield United but I'd fancy KLD , KS and Harvey to sell the dream
Everton have a decent sell on % so i'd imagine Leicester would prefer the offer that has more guaranteed money.
Everton are in for him now aparrently...Everton have a decent sell on % so i'd imagine Leicester would prefer the offer that has more guaranteed money.

I'd rather be in the players' ear, hopefully as has been said, he's been sold the dreamHis agent was in Sheffield he was up here
Bids have been accepted though and doubt the player wants to sit around, its down to him and his agent deciding which club and offer suits them best and doubt that is going to take weeksI'm pretty confident we won't be getting a quick resolution to this btw. Will go on for a fortnight waiting for a club to panic IMO.
we have tried 3 times to sign him, and failed,
why I think ( i could be wrong) he wont be coming, and hopefully that we can move on to another target quickly
I'd imagine they'd sign him and then loan him out straight away, if that is allowed.Everton are in for him now aparrently...
If they are imagine they get him

The lad is frustrated at not having a perm home, he won't go back to a club that'll loan him out again like they did before. I honestly think he has more potential at staying and playing here than he does elsewhereif Everton link is true he got a chance of premier league right now
Sounds like they are signing him to play not loan, says Moyes is looking to improve firepower with the signing, might be favourable for them as there'd be no sell onI'd imagine they'd sign him and then loan him out straight away, if that is allowed.
