Know nothing about them mate, so just going to wait and see. I've been over the moon in the past with players we've signed and know nothing about and they've ended up "meh". So good luck to them. Just hope Styles can make the step up from leauge one.
to be fair to styles he's player over 100 games in the championship and was loved by barnsley and millwall aswell

Not what people want to hear but that's about as sensible and accurate as it gets imo. People just wanting us to 'bring in a big lad up front' are missing the point, it would take us back to the McGeady/Wyke way of playing.

It might just allow us to scrape into tte playoffs but there'd be three tough games as you say. And in the meantime we've thrown away what we've built and not given Rusyn a chance as you've rightly said.

With the manager change, the Ross Stewart saga and all.the injuries this season has been too messy to really progress imo ...

... but with a good close/pre season, a good window and our injured back I think we'd have a better platform.

And I think we've currently as much chance of 6th with what we have as throwing in the two new players many want. Some are saying it's a disaster, by Speakman, if we don't bring them in but I think that's extreme.

There's no guarantee it would work and might do more harm than good.

Whether people agree with the strategy or not is irrelevant - we have one and we're sticking to it. Speakman and KLD are playing long term games.

Loads of Sunderland fans seem to have a "weekend millionaire" attitude. If we go for a "proven" striker who doesn't do great and we're in this league again, there will be plenty just asking for another striker again.

No thought to squad building, no thought to development, no thought to financial security.

All things considered, this transfer window is one of our least important in a long time in my opinion.

SAFC have had 594 Shots on goal this season..the second highest in the division..40 goals..6.7% conversation rate..we need a goal scorer..
Conversion rate is the whole team tho not just strikers, look at the goal scoring charts in the championship this season n think theres only 2 out n out strikers in the top 10. Wingers seem to be the main threats these days

The names you mentioned as signings are hardly goal scorers, Gallagher has scored in double figures once n that was yrs ago. Connolly wasnt a proven striker before this yr, hes having his best season so far (8 goals). Shankland is playing in a shocking league so hard to tell how he would adapt the pace n quality of the championship. Moore better, had 3 or 4 really good yrs n would have been a handful but sounds like his wages are massive

another year and still no striker signed, this will be the end for these owners will they ever learn ? should have took a chance on the Preston striker or Langstaff, so Rigg needs to be our choice striker then.

Who do they bring in? Everybody is looking for a striker lol

We are about spending wisely, not spending on any ****er like we did under Quinn, Short and Madrox.

There again we bought a proven striker before, and it did not end well for Sir William Grigg.
So stay with what we've got, or bring Benson the winger in and play him up front.

I don't bother any more. I've found whenever you question it you get about 5 of their brainwashed on you in a flash. Proper echo chamber stuff.
Well I think on Saturday I fell out with me m8 who’s in with them cos there was only there view none other existed

Bob give over man! You weren’t complementing the club when Matty young signing his long term contract when loads of prem clubs wanted him, or rigg etc. you love sticking the boot in!
No I don't I'm happy if any of our young guns stay it means we are doing something right.
It's when the parents and agents get involved the £ sign wins

Happens to every club unfortunately. Always liked the look of this lad n ashame he didnt want to stay here but weve still got some cracking talent in the youth set up

Shame he left tho
They were no where near Brighton with the wages offered. Fact. Why would he want to stay
