Aye but they need to sort the striker. Even the biggest supporters of the model can not excuse another window without a ready striker being brought in. It's 2 year now.

They are after one but hoping it gets sorted, THIS TIME.

Ironically we've gone from a situation where we bought players for now who lasted six months and nobody for the future, to buying players for six months time when we need one now for the next six months.

yes i agree but to say they is no ambition i disagree
ambition is showed in different ways to me

it's not just going to get moore on loan yes i would of been very happy with him coming but to ambition is also keeping your best player
having them tied down to big contracts
a team now that's worth probably between 80-100m
promotion first year
playoffs last year
and another shot of the playoffs this year

so the doing something right

Oh yeah. I am not saying we have no ambition.

However, they need to get this striker over the line. Getting to be a fundamental weak point of our transfer policy.

i know not you it's just what some fans are saying, to be the biggest test will be how we spend the clarke money in the summer

Ipswich paying £30k a week for the last 14 weeks or so of the season is a hell of a lot less than we’ve paid for Mundle plus his wage so no idea why people think they’ll be breaking FFP.

Personally I would be happy with what we've got, play to the strengths of the players we have, continue to bring on our young players, don't change the way we play to accommodate a 'big' striker. To my mind, the model is working well, we're in a better position than we've been for many years with much better prospects going forward. I know it's a big ask in these days of instant gratification, but patience is a virtue, a little more from some of our fans would be welcome.

I respect the views of those who are hurt by Pritchard's departure, however, I loved him as a gifted link-up player. He was mint at his best.....and for his contributions towards SAFC, I wish him all the best.

I don't concur with those who slag former players off who leave the club for reasons that we are not 100% privy to.

Former players like Henderson (who has also upset some folk) Well I would welcome the lad back with open arms, without malice for football reasons, not his private matters that he may not be comfortable with either.

Can we just not say stuff like - "**** you" to the lads who move on please....

it's not just him mind if you look at the wages to turnover it's something like 150%
im sure it's need be around the 70% mark and that was before this window aswell

Guessing here, big time. Bolton just signed a decent CF. Dion Charles deserves a shot at the Championship. I like Charles personally.

Lad at work is a Bolton ST holder, says that he’s gone off the boil recently and is a total arsehole behind the scenes.

I am not sure why the Premiere league allow teams to gamble financially on promotion from the EFL and if it goes wrong they could be screwed, obviously they dont give a ****

Mundle tfr fee will be spread over 5 yrs, hence the 4.5 year deal I suspect. Ipswich overall spending is of real interest. Their owner can only fund £8m of debts, maybe that is enough still?
