I seem to remember you talking about Conway at Bristol City recently when people were saying we needed a 'championship proven forward' and you brought him up as an example of why we didn't need that. Nope.

I’ve mentioned before that plenty of other teams play with strikers who aren’t “proven”. That doesn’t mean they play amongst a full squad of kids though they’re generally in amongst at least a few experienced players.

Exciting times undoubtedly mate. Our squad is one of the most valuable in the league and that’s a credit to KLD/Speakman but it doesn’t change the fact we’re crying out for a few experienced heads in the spine of the team. Someone to rally the boys when things aren’t going our way, someone to organise the midfield, cut out the naivety and give us a more aggressive side to our game.

It’s one of them where one side of the fence will say but we made play offs and we’re close again so it’s all good but the other side will argue if we had a few more experienced players who’s to say we wouldn’t of gone up. There’s no right or wrong answer just opinions and egos.

For some reason you can’t say you disagree with anything the club do on here without people going on some weird defensive rant though.

We can all see we need some players ready to hit the ground round running ideally with a fair bit of football at this level and the first 2 by the looks of it are both 20 year old lads with potential but no experience. I think we do in certain positions but id say wingers are fine to be exciting prospects since they wont start ahead of roberts clarke n Ba. I still want an experienced cf n a cdm as think thats where we lack experience at the minute

I think signing an exciting winger is a great thing

Dont think jewi has developed as theyve expected, hope he smashes his loan move though
