Totally agree. Ba deserves the next couple of games based on yesterday. No reason Roberts can’t get sub appearances after say 70 minutes when fit. Means Ba can run himself into ground knowing he’s coming off early, and Roberts knows he has to really show up for the team to get past Ba and stay performing to stay there.

He is defensive minded but still good enough going forward to contribute. I suppose with clarke ahead of him we have enough attacking talent down this side
Ive been a fan of this lad for yrs, reccomended him to my club who have discussed signing him in the summer so theyll not be happy if this deal comes off lol

Ba has about 8 combined goals and assists to Roberts 1 while doing some great defensive work to help us keep clean sheets and pick up results against Leeds and Southampton amongst others. You seen what happened as soon as he went off against Ipswich they put everything down our right. We’re a better team with him in it.
Yep i always felt thats where he will end up later in his career tbh. Big strong lad, strong in the air and technically sound

It’s all about opinions m8,and I respect yours of course, but honestly I’ve watched both of them as regularly as a season ticket holder who goes to the odd away game can, and imho Ba shouldn’t get a game when paddy Robert is fit. If you think back three or four games Ba was terrible, and I get he’s a young lad still learning his trade, and that one day he may be a v good player, but again imho, today’s not that day.

Just watched a couple of youtube videos of him (I know, I know) and he was playing centre back for Leeds in pre-season. Looks composed and tidy from that extremely limited viewing.

Just noticed that when Bennette signs for Aris he will be competing for a spot on the wings with David Moberg Karlsson.

Now there's a blast from the past.I’ve always thought Ba looked decent just lacked consistency and sometimes didn’t look arsed - but he’s a young lad who couldn’t do right for wrong because he could play well for 3 games then get switched to the middle and as soon as he had a poor game he was dropped whereas Roberts could turn in poor performances continually and keep his place. Ba would end up coming off the bench for 10-15 minutes miss a chance and have the fans on his case.
I don’t know if I feel we look better because I’m not a fan of Hume coming inside and O’nien being the RCB which Ba helps out with defensively whereas Roberts isn’t that player.
