Imperative we do not bring in a CDM who slows us down. The old fashioned CDM is evolving I think. Less need for tackling and heading in the modern game. Much more need for reading and blocking the pass. Then being able to link defence and attack quickly. If we get one who is quick minded and footed I am ok with that. My guess is Neil will be away in the summer, then we have a major replacement job to complement Rigg. Happy to wait personally, unless the main target is available.

It’s nice that he wants to come back but won’t be relevant unless we are willing to pay United what they want for the loan
 
I want Amad back but hope it doesn't affect BA's development. Tinfoil hat time but I'd rather we see one of our own with huge potential given more gametime than a (admittedly brilliant) player who will only be here half a season...
