I work in a similar field too. He could perhaps softened his language a bit but its probably gone past the point now. He might as well not bother doing pressers.

He was very slightly sarcastic. And basically said that we're OK but things need to improve. He also talked about needing to score more goals and to move the ball faster. He didn't say anything offensive if you didn't watch the press conference looking for things to be offended by.

I'm very happy he's been offered a deal and also happy they waited until now. Was definitely worth seeing if Jobe and Aouchiche settled better than they have. If they had, Pritchard would have been expendable. But both have (understandably) struggled, so Pritchard gets a new deal. Seems pretty fair to me.
I'm also happy enough with what Speakman has said today about the transfer window. Hope it all spurns to life over the weekend and early next week.
