Di Canio has never claimed to be a fascist mind. The quote from his autobiography that everyone thinks is him saying he's a fascist doesn't say that at all if you read the book. The tattoo and the salute thing might be associated with Mussolini but within the context that di Canio claims to be using them, they're symbols of the Lazio ultras, and he certainly was one of those.

Manchester United are planning to keep Amad beyond the closure of the January transfer window.

Facundo Pellistri is expected to join Granada on loan. United think Amad has an important role to play in the squad.

Sad to see a poster as (normally) reasonable and good as yourself posting this sort of self pitying nonsense. Suggests the hysteria from other SAFC social media has fully permeated this board. I'm pleased I've been keeping my distance.

To clarify I was playing devil's advocate. The lad may well look at Carrick and what he's done at Boro and want to work under him. That's not self pitying. More accepting that we don't have a divine right to sign him just because he was here last time. That's why he said he "may" choose them. Not saying he WOULD. I was responding at the time to people suggesting that if we matched the offer he'd definitely come to us.

Since I posted that, we've seen what he's put on instagram, so my point is less relevant. But I think its entirely fair to say a player MIGHT choose another club over us. It would be ridiculously arrogant to think otherwise. So i'm a bit confused by your post.
