Because of the wage bill situation I’m not getting my hopes up just yet. Hope the club can get it over the line but if they’re piss-farting about over wages for someone of his quality in a position that we’ve struggled with and lose out then I think it’ll more or less make my mind up on how serious we are about progressing.
If we’re in for him and he chooses Cardiff for personal reasons fair enough but if it’s because we won’t match a wage contribution that’s not good.
Yep. Burnley done it last season will get the money from the PL but getting tanned every week. Boro obviously couldn’t manage promotion so back at square 1 after developing other clubs players last season
100% agree with this, 2 loans maximum is about the sweet sport for me. Ideally on players we couldn't sign (eg Amad)

You realise it takes two to tango on transfers? Yes Moore may be available but he is Bournemouths backup striker so they won't sign off on him leaving until they have a replacement. Not sure how that means we are ****ing about? January is notoriously an extremely difficult window and clubs will not sanction players leaving without replacements.

Just the way the window works these days for 90% of transfers. Can't remember who it was, but we brought in a loan on deadline day a few years back and the player himself said it had all been agree in the 1st week in Jan, but the club wouldn't release him until they sorted their own transfer business. They should make the transfer window a 48 hour period and stop all the ****ing about

But you clearly don't realise it as you think the club are ****ing around? There's been I think 10 incoming transfers in the championship this January so far, maybe 2 of them would've been decent signings here. Does that mean everyone is ****ing around?
