There's every possibility he "Downed tools" in the end. A statement last week from the club saying he had told the club he was unavailable is refusing to play. He clearly needs to make sure he gets one more move befote its all over but the whole situation has been a **** storm. Club in an awkward position, he's said he isn't available (refusing to play) while still under contract and getting paid till June, club could've easy said nothing about it and said he "had a knock", but done the right thing and told the truth. Club can now use half of what he was probably on for a young player. Of course it's not clean cut as "f**k off I'm not playing", club offered what he didn't want etc,but he made himself unavailable for the game last week against Stoke. Regardless we won without him, he made the squad weaker. I feel like you have info we aren't privy too on this one mate, so you probably know more, but from information given, that's how I and probably thousands of others feel. He made sure he went on like a dick when he scored against Huddersfield for us because of past dealings with them, so I'm inclined to believe that no matter how nice a social media message from the club is for him, he'll give it the biggin if he scores against us. All of the above ofcourse in my humble opinion.
I do mate and I said on here why I am not hammering him. It's not on the player. Believe me, I hate waste of space players who turn the back on the club. I would be raging. But not here. Anyway. Seems to be busier than predicted with Safc in and outs. Haway the deadline day.
Hopefully we have enough cover with Seelt and Hjelde. Although that requires some of the full backs getting fit
be interesting to see whom we scramble to try and get now bud. I'm at work later so I'll be relying on here.lol. Know anything about Styles, I'm not really up on leauge one players tbh. Has he shown he can make the step up?
doubt it tbh on instagram the clubs post, most of the comments are slagging the club off and wishing him well.
don't know who he is on twitter it might be that knacker who's called steve but someone has just linked us to Ibrahim Sissoko
Ended weirdly but appreciate how both sides have put out positive statements about eachother. Grown up behaviour.
I don't usually agree with prehab but I think there is probably a bit more to Pritchard leaving than him downing tools and ****ing off. He was unprofessional but players are human beings with emotions and also families and futures to think about. He was a very good player for us and was a big part of us getting out of l1. Maybe it was time for him to leave and maybe he and the club could have handled it better. Good luck to him.
