Man C v Argyle will be played on Sat 1st March at 1715 hrs and shown on ITV. Another report suggests the kick off time is 1745 hrs ? PS.....BBC now saying 1745hrs as well.
From the BBC Championship preview for the coming weekend: You get the feeling if Plymouth Argyle boss Miron Muslic told his players they could walk on water, they would be queuing up down at the Hoe to test his theory. Such has been the impact of their new head coach, the FA Cup upset of Liverpool was followed by a 5-1 hammering of Millwall in midweek, which lifted them off the bottom of the table and within view of safety. Grown men and women have almost been weeping at footage of his first team talk when he joined the club, and it's hard not to be uplifted by the story of a man whose early life was spent as a refugee after having to flee his Bosnian home in 1992. But, inspiring stories aside, there are football matches to be won to complete the story, and seven points from a possible nine will fill them with optimism going into a trip to Blackburn Rovers, who, you may have read, have had problems of their own this week. Just in case anyone hasn't seen it...... it's required viewing
Just looking ahead......we have to play the following......with predicted pts. At Home. Leeds (1st).....0 Sheffield U (2nd).....0 Sheffield W (8th).....1 Coventry (10th).....3 Norwich (12th).....3 Cardiff (20th).....3 Derby (22nd).....3 Away. Blackburn (5th).....1 Middlesboro (9th).....0 Watford (13th).....1 PNE (15th).....1 Swansea (17th).....3 Portsmouth (18th).....1 Hull (21st).....3 Luton (24th).....1 So maybe with my green tints on.....that is a total of 24pts from 15 games..... solely because of our NEW defence capabilities. That would be a total of 52pts.....and I think we will then scrape through ahead of Luton, Derby (played two games more) and Hull. When it becomes time to predict these games.... circumstances might of changed..... and my forecast might vary to the above. And of course by then we might be going to Wembley........ This is before the Blackburn match on the 15/02/2025
Manchester City away details. Key one for most is that it's on ITV4. https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sp...ity-vs-plymouth-argyle-9946989?int_source=nba
An agreement to bring in a new investor has been agreed in principle: https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sport/football/simon-hallett-plymouth-argyle-investor-9960074
Ryan Hardie saw a specialist in London on Friday regarding his back injury and is not expected to be fit for at least another fortnight Over the season Argyle players have missed over a hundred match days.through injury. Hardie is Argyle's only reliable scorer....other than him we have very little goal scoring ability.....this is the one area that recruitment has failed miserably to address.
My daughter (born on Valentines Day) and likely son-in-law, having spurned their season tickets this time around, have spent this weekend in a Cornish shepherd’s hut (with log-burner and hot-tub). I gather that the Argyle game was available on NowTV on a pay-per-match basis….. Just thought you’d like to know……
Theym nat a praper fan. How would you prefer to spend time in a hot tub rather than Home Park? You ask my fifth wife, I just don't get it..............
Julio Pleguezuelo has extended his contract until 2027. Muhamed Tijani has hamstring problems and will be missing for a few weeks.....great news after him scoring his first Argyle goal.....where are the goals coming from to win games....unlucky season with injuries for Argyle.
Ah. I have beef in the oven but I’m watching the FA Cup game between Man Utd & Fulham on the Beeb and guess who they’ve picked out in the crowd. No less than Mirom Muslic. I believe they’ve stayed oop north, are presumably training somewhere on Monday before the game at Hull on Tuesday. If they’d come home, there’d have been next to no training time even if they’d flown.
It strikes me this tie is an example of a club with a relatively small budget taking on a theoretically much bigger team. Or is that overthinking an afternoon out on a freebie? I don’t see Muslic as a freebie type of guy TBH.
Why do TV channels and the like.....seem to be running after the wisdom of Wayne Rooney ......he is very critical of the current Man U situation.....and they should be doing this or that. When he proves himself at least ONCE as a manager then he might have a slight leverage to comment on others.
Training at Huddersfield Town https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sp...-argyle-hull-city-edge-9990626?int_source=nba Which is this....

Adam Randell has been given a three game ban....plus a fine of £4,000 .....also two of Argyle's staff have been given lesser bans and fines as well. Randell's ban start from today....so will also include the Portsmouth and derby games .
Rooney spouting off on how to take penalties on the telly 48 scored....BUT 13 missed....so not that much of an expert.
