I do remember that now, actually. I remember dismissing it at the time and I'm happy to do so again. I'm not sure what his rationale was behind the statement, but I suspect it had more to do with not wanting to go against his employer than any real feelings. I reckon if you could ask him off the record, he'd tell you the whole name change thing is utter bollocks.
