He was on here during last season, not sure if he still is or not with not having been on much myself. Can't remember exactly what his username on here was, but you'd know it was him without even needing to read the posts as it was about as cryptic as comparing my usernames on here and on Twitter.

Good man. Personally I can't stand any diet drinks. Plus I'd sail through the old Pepsi challenge because I can't stand the stuff, coke cola or nowt for me.

Conversations you've had alone, in your own head?

It's not if Deano wasn't paid, and paid well for his time as soon player. He was doing his job. So while he gets 'legend' status it doesn't mean he is immune to any criticism.

As others have said, his previous view was either neutral or against, for him to now come out not only in favour but actually calling the club Hull Tigers before it has actually changed is a fairly clear indication that this is financially motivated. If he is acting in his own interests and not the fans then we should be able to call him on it.

As for not saying anything to his face, that's is just ridiculous. I've lived in Hull all my life and never met the bloke, and only seen him off the pitch and couple of times. I can't see anything wrong with booing to express displeasure with his decision as I would a referees decision (who Is am just as unlikely to meet).

Just for the record I didn't boo as I didn't even know he was there.

As for him potentially going into schools as an ambassador, I would have some concerns. I haven't read his book, but from what I understand he didn't do well at school, he's messed up his family life and his finances, he's had alcohol problems, and now seems to be compromising his own and other fans feelings by all this Hull Tigers nonsense. How does any of this make him someone I want coming into school to be a role-model to my kids?

I see you put facts in inverted commas. The only fact mentioned in the post is a woman on a bus told Riochatemyhouse a man slapped her for wearing a CTWD scarf. Are you calling him a liar? Or do you think he's telling the truth and that the woman is the liar?

Neither. I don't know either. It's one post on a small forum by someone I don't know, but judging by the other posts I've read of his seems quite angry a lot of the time.

The point is, your assertion that a CTWD member was attacked for her beliefs has as much substance as dottys.

    I didn't say she was a member.

Its not my assertion its Riochatemyhouse's assertion. He says he spoke to a woman on the bus coming back from the match who told him she had been slapped for wearing a CTWD scarf. Either the conversation took place or it didn't. If the conversation took place she was telling the truth or she wasn't.

It is black and white either she was slapped and told Riochatemyhouse, or she didn't tell him, or she told him but hadn't been slapped. No other possibilities.

When CTWD ceased the campaign, roughly half of the committee stood down. The new committee/sub-group members voted in at the FGM were roughly half from the old committee and half new members. CTWD has now merged with Tigers co-op and all of the committee/sub-group members will have to be re-elected to the Hull City Supporters Trust at the meeting this month. They obviously have the option of standing for their existing role, or putting themselves forward for a different role and any other member is free to also put themselves forward. Nobody from Tigers co-op is interested in standing as far as I'm aware.

We've already reminded them that we're not protesting at all at the moment and haven't been since April and you don't have the slightest idea if anyone who was involved in any trouble(if it happened at all) was a member of CTWD(they certainly weren't HCST members, as currently, there are no HCST members).

AA has the right to challenge the FA decision and is doing so, entirely his prerogative.

What's childish, is promoting a team he's been told he can't use the name of, by the name he's been told he can't use. What's the point of flying a team of people to India to promote a team that doesn't exist? Why do all this **** now, a month from a likely FA outcome?

Think what you like, will you still go to matches if the name changes? Grow up and see that the majority of season card holders will still go to matches no matter what the team is called.

As for the FA, even Steve Bruce says he thinks the club will be successful. The club is confident in its success and whilst you may bury your head in the sand believing that the name change has been defeated, others are not so sure.

I don't know why you keep repeating that nonsense, Bruce hasn't got the slightest idea of what will happen. They haven't even set a date for the bloody thing yet.

Mr Allam has made all sorts of confident predictions that have failed to come to pass. Maybe he even thinks that the decision going his way from the FA will mean the playing name becomes Hull Tigers there and then.

The majority of season ticket holders may go but only as long as Assem Allam keeps Hull Tigers in the Premier League. This season we lost 2,000 season ticket holders many of whom had sat in the same seats since we moved into the KC. Yes they were replaced by new City fans some of whom will renew, many of whom won't.

A section of the season ticket holders will not accept Hull Tigers and will be vocal. Some of whom may contact the Spirit of Shankley who lead a successful campaign against their previous owners. The more Hull Tigers struggle the more the opposition to the owner will grow. Hull Tigers will be a club born from revenge and spite with a section of their support hating the name.

Finally there will be a section of the supporters that leave and form their own club following the example of AFC Wimbledon who are, according to the BBC, replaying their famous FA Cup Final match, and FC United of Manchester. They and North Ferriby United have shown what is possible. Once Hull Tigers is registered with the FA as the playing name there is no reason why AFC Hull City cannot be the playing name of the new club. One day we may even play Arsenal in the FA Cup and have it billed as a reply of the 2014 final.

    Interesting times indeed.

I don't think he knows what's going on, he even got the wrong arbitration body when he had the infamous press conference, which his son had to come out afterwards and rectify.

Some people seem to be getting confused, this appeal is purely to investigate whether the FA took the right procedures when coming to the conclusion to rejected the name change.

I don't know about the first part, but the latter I think that to a degree you are right.
